  9. All  of  us  scene-freaks,  are always
  10. willing  to accept newcommers, because
  11. there  is  a  great  diffrence between
  12. lamers   and   newcommers(If   I  have
  13. understood  the debate on this subject
  14. right!)  And  ofcause  we all love the
  15. diskmags;   talking   spheres  of  the
  16. scene,  the  WHOLE  scene.  And if you
  17. have  anything  on  your mind the only
  18. thing you have to do, is grab a editor
  19. and  start  writing.  Because you know
  20. that  people  read  your  articles and
  21. then,  for  them  self, make their own
  22. oppinions   about   your   article  or
  23. subject.   The  only  ones  who  MIGHT
  24. would  react  on your article is USUAL
  25. main  or  full  time editors of a mag,
  26. that  they  have  to  make  survive by
  27. writing  lotsa'  articles.  Isn't that
  28. kind  of a shame, that the scene folks
  29. are so apathic?!

  31. But  belive  me  they(or we) arn't, it
  32. all depends where YOU (the author) are
  33. in   the   scene-heracy.    There  are
  34. diffrent  levels  of  how much you can
  35. say.  For example if you is an unknown
  36. guy  from  an  unknown  crew, the most
  37. active  you  is  "alloved" to write in
  38. the  mags, are supplements to allready
  39. exiting  debates.   (ehh, I think that
  40. packs  and  mags is okay) and then you
  41. can  move  further;  Lord  Helmet  for
  42. example  is  one,  if  not  the,  most
  43. ¶popular  editor in the scene, and look
  44. how  every  time  he  write an serious
  45. article  or  speak a word idt becommes
  46. law.   Now  he is "untouchable", witch
  47. means  that  he "piss" on many people,
  48. and  say  what  he  really mean (plus,
  49. ofcause  abit  show, and dirty words),
  50. he started the Anti-Brainstrom article
  51. storm  etc.  No one dare to anwser him
  52. again,  and  are  afraid of comming in
  53. his  spotlight.   Because  HE  got the
  54. POWER, the POWER of information.  (All
  55. information    should    be   free   -
  56. Cyberpunk)  What  i'm really trying to
  57. say  with  this little article is that
  58. if  any unknowns was half as offending
  59. as,  again  for an example Helmet, the
  60. whole  scene would have exploded.  And
  61. the  "victims"  would  have  been  the
  62. first  to  write  articles  and spread
  63. rumors  that  the  person is lame etc.
  64. And  that  could MIGHT meaning the end
  65. of an scene-carrier even before it has
  66. really started.

  68. You     can    also    see    it    in
  69. rewiev-sections; If the rewiever ain't
  70. a  editor  whom  are perfectly sure of
  71. him  self,  he is abit scared to write
  72. that   this  very  well  known  groups
  73. production,  is  rather  lame.  But if
  74. the  author  is sequre on him self and
  75. have "covered his bag", then he try to
  76. be  as  objective  as possible, and he
  77. don't  really  care  if the group (the
  78. well  known  group!)  should  make  an
  79. officiel  "war".   (Witch almost don't
  80. happen  when,  a writer is sure on him
  81. self.  And really try to be objective)

  83. ¶The  point  of  this  article  is both
  84. that,  there  are  levels for what you
  85. can  say,  and  when  you  can say it!
  86. WHY?   DO  WE  REALLY NEED THAT?!  And
  87. that we all maybe should be more awake
  88. on  what  diskmags  really  is:   Huge
  89. spaces  filled  with  information  and
  90. news,  but when and who can really see
  91. if  this  socalled News or information
  92. is   Propaganda?    It  can  be  hard,
  93. right?!

  95. So  I  would  like  if,  not  only the
  96. well-etablished  authors would dare to
  97. write articles witch consern more than
  98. just:   I  think packs and...  And all
  99. of  us,  should think for ourselfs and
  100. NOT  let  the  diskmags decide what we
  101. should   mean.    I   hope   you   all
  102. understood,  what  I tried to say, and
  103. will give it a thourgt!
